You’ll have the opportunity to meet our staff and some members of GCC, and to hear more about who we are and the ministries we have at GCC. Worship Team Interest & Retreat

FEBRUARY 1 | 9:00am-12:00pm

It has been wonderful to see our worship team grow this year! One way we would like to see the worship team continue to grow this next year is by giving people more opportunities to use their musical skills to serve the church. Whether that be by playing on Sunday mornings or by leading worship for the nursing home ministry, there are plenty of opportunities to grow musically and spiritually by serving in different ministries.

If you can play an instrument, love to sing, or want to learn how to play an instrument and are interested in joining the worship team to glorify God using your talents, we want to invite you to join us on February 1st for the GCC Worship Retreat! This half-day retreat will be spent learning more about what worship is and casting vision for the worship team moving forward in 2025. We’ll spend time playing as a full band and we’ll also have times to gather into smaller groups to work on improving our ability to play music together in a church setting. Lunch will be provided. We welcome people of all musical backgrounds to come and learn more about worship and playing their instruments for God’s glory!

Tuesday, December 24th

Celebrate Christmas with us as three churches join together to worship God and remember the birth of Jesus. This special service will feature Christmas worship songs, a short, bilingual sermon in English and Spanish, and a children’s song & story time.

When: December 24 at 5:00pm

Where: At Santa Cruz Community Church, 411 Roxas St. Santa Cruz (map below). Join us in the Sanctuary, the building between the parking lot and the street.

Parking: Park in the main parking lot.

Service details: This Christmas Eve service features Christmas worship songs, a short sermon (English and Spanish), a children’s song & story time, and a special candlelight song at the end. The total length of the service is about one hour.

Children: Children’s classes are not provided at this service. Your children are welcome to sit with you in the service.

Women's Craft Day

Operation Christmas Child Packing Party

Along with enjoying great food and company, you can expect us to spend time hearing from God's word together, engaging in small group discussion, & praying with each other. This brunch will be hosted at Santa Cruz Community Church in the fellowship hall.

Please let us know if you can bring a dish and if you need childcare in the sign up. We will have several ladies doing childcare since we know most of the men will be attending the Men’s Retreat that weekend.
